I found these last ones hiding. If i could do it all again i probably would have just tryed to touch up the original paint somehow.
The Story: Well me mate told me about a 56' Customline sitting in the backyard of an Ipswich tattooist's house named Bones. It was pulled apart and came with a sad looking 302 Clevo sitting under a Redback spider infested tarp in the uncut grass.
I think he may have bought it and pulled it apart himself and realised it was never going to go back together.
Never the less these were the days before ebay. You know? the days when everything was a fair price and you actually had to meet people and help make the hotrod community not just sit behind a computer and buy into it.
Not that this car was ever intended to be a hotrod, it has 4 doors, thats all we got in Australia.
I was just a young fella with no money who wanted to drive around in an old car and take me dear ol' mum for a drive to the shops.
A life of simple pleasures you could say.

I could get on my high horse and crap on about how much i 'love' billet and fiberglass kit cars posing as old Fords and the better resale value of red opposed to traditional colours like beige, but your better off just looking at photos of some more old Australian rods and quietly thinking i'm a wanker than actually reading and knowing i'm a wanker.

OMG! OMG! how good was that movie 'Twilight' I loved every minute of it, i can't wait for the next one.
My favourite part was when that vampire dude had a argument with those warewolf dudes and was all like "You guys are just a bunch of ball licking dogs" but he was really jealous cause he knew the warevolves were giving themselves head jobs when no one was around, and then the warewolf was all up in his face saying "Hey take it easy fangsy that really hurt my feelings, and i'm all sad like cause i've got a bad case of the worms!" and then he turned into a warwolf dog and rubbed his ass on the carpet. GROSS!
Man i'm definately lining up at midnight for the next one!
Anyways see it in ya heart to frog and toad it down to Rocklea sunday to shoot the shit and make the day a winner. We can even talk about Twilight.

Its no secret i like old hotrods, and its no secret that i especially like old Australian hotrods.
So when i ran across these little gems i knew i wanted to show fellow WCZ's that not all old Australian hotrods were pastel yellow with Jag rear ends and Gemini bucket seats.
The 34 Ford in the bottom photo ticks all the right boxes. Wheels, motor, stance, i feel all warm and fuzzy. Don't you?
